Some may remember when newspaper boys at stands in city areas would yell the phrase to those passing by. And if you can’t remember it, surely you’ve seen a few old movies to know where the phrase came from.
Today it’s a little bit different. People expect the news to be delivered to them without having to walk down a certain street or enter your brick and mortar business. Today’s consumer expects you to make it convenient for them to know what they need to know about you, when they need to know it.
Your assignment as the business owner, brand manager or industry professional is to ensure your product’s or service’s news is THE source to turn to when they want the news or not.
Update your potential or current customers.
With consumers being inundated with being able to choose from different businesses, you must be the consistent resource of not only your products or services, but what is going on in your industry. This lets the customer know you are THE source to turn to for their needs. Take advantage of emailing brief newsletters, updating blogs or other social media avenues. It’s a cost effective way for many small organizations to get the word out without breaking the bank.
